Kate loves to wear clothes. Any kind and in any combination. We found her in this little get-up last night right before bed. My sister made her the little fairy skirt and wristlets for Christmas which she loves to wear and then I guess she just found this hat and decided to wear it too. She is so stinkin’ cute!! Love her!
Ty goes to Little Readers Preschool here in Spanish Fork. He loves his teacher and he loves to go to school. We have really loved this school and his teacher is awesome! Ty goes to school on Thursday and Friday from 8:30am to 11:15am. He is so grown-up going to school….I just might cry! And I love this little set up they did for the pictures…it kind of makes me laugh because I remember sitting at a desk for like my 1st grade pictures! Kind of old school but so cute! HA!
We had a great Halloween this year. Kate and I were Owls, and I made our costumes. I just glued felt feathers on our hoodies and made our masks. It was a lot of fun to put together. Spencer and Ty were Cowboys. Well, Spencer anyway. Ty didn’t want to dress up. Oh well. I made them both Sheriff badges and gun holsters out of felt.
We had our 9th Annual Halloween Party at my brother, Brandon’s house. We always have soup in homemade bread bowls, which my mom and I make every year. We also have lots of junk food too, awesome!!
Here is a rundown of all the costumes.
My brother Brandon was a weird Pumpkin Man. That is a real pumpkin he carved and then put foam inside so he could put it on his head. His wife, Becky was a Mad Scientist. And here are 3 of their kids dressed up.
There were a lot more kids but I didn’t get pictures of everyone.
This morning was Ty’s first day of preschool. I am so excited for him and all the things he is going to learn. He was so excited to go and has been talking about it for a long time. All week he has been asking me if Kate could go to school with him. They are going to miss each other while he is at school. They have gotten so close over the past few months. Next year she will get to go and I think they will love being there together.
My brother-in-law, Josh, just graduated from PA (physician assistant) school from Idaho State University! We are so proud of him and excited for his future. Me, my Mom and my 2 sisters, Lori and Holli, drove to Idaho for the weekend to support Josh and be there for his graduation. I took some pictures at the graduation then my battery died and I didn’t have my battery charger with me so no pictures of the great weekend we had together….lame!!!
One a side note. It was so nice to have Spencer watch the kids so I could go to Idaho. I have to share this text I got from Spencer on Saturday morning.
“OMG!!! Did I seriously spend 20 minutes this morning helping my 2 year old pick out an outfit?? And why does she need to change her clothes 20 times a day??!!
Isn’t that hilarious? I love that little girl and I’m glad Spencer got to spend a lot of time with her and Ty!
